I've never been to Poland, but having witnessed some of the worst driving i've ever seen in Prague, i wish her the best of British.

In other news Ewa will play a special New Years Eve concert later tonight in Gdansk (Poland).

There's never a bad time for a bit of DLW as i've been heard to say from time to time.
Right back to the beginning of this adventure for me tonight.
When i first heard this song and watched this video (thanks Criss!) i never suspected what a impact this (then 16) year old young lady would have on my life.
For that i'm eternally grateful.

Ewa lip-synced her way through Dest (sans band) on a Charity TV event for disabled children yesterday 17/12/11.

Not much info on this one at the moment.
As far as i can make out it is from yesterday 16/12/11 on a Slovak TV programme?

*UPDATE The featured song was indeed from a Slovak TV show called 'Legends of Pop'.  Ewa's song translates roughly as 'Water, that keeps me afloat' and was originally recorded by Czechoslovakian band Elan. (Hat tip to Jirka for the additional info).

EWA AND CECHOMOR

For a while now Ewa has been a semi regular guest at Cechomor concerts.
Cechomor are a traditional/folk Czech group and are very popular in their homeland.
I like this.  It shows a different side to Ewa and a good one methinks.
As far as i'm aware Ewa has recorded with the band but unfortunately i don't have much detail regarding this.

NIE PRZEGAP Music Video premiere

Finally, after long time we will be able to see new music video by Ewa to song Nie Przegap. Premiere is scheduled at 11:45 (10:45 GMT) on this Friday (9.12) on VIVA Poland music television. No information on availability on the Internet, but I'm pretty sure it will be there sooner or later, through official channel (later) or unofficial (sooner).
Can't wait any more to watch this:)

Polish Live DVD certified GOLD

Really good information coming from Ewa herself, via her Facebook.
Polish live DVD sold more than 5,000 copies, and well... if you are in Poland it's enough for a DVD to receive a gold certification. Christmas are just around the corner, and the DVD sounds like a perfect gift for a lot of fans who did not buy it yet, so I expect this number to rise. Who knows, maybe we can get platinum...
It's worth noticing that it's very rare here in Poland for a DVD to get platinum, this year just three were awarded; even gold is not that popular - some 13 DVD this year got this level of certification.

EWA AND TESCO....ANOTHER PERFECT COMBINATION?

It looks like Ewa has signed a contract to release a branded MP3/MP4 player exclusively to Tesco stores in the Czech Republic?
There will also be an autograph session at the launch of the product in a Tesco store (somewhere that isn't translating???).

Ewa has lent her vocal talent to what i presume is a charity recording with various other Polish artists.

You can spot Ewa in the video and her vocal parts are pretty easy to recognise.
Due to the failings of Google Translate that's all i really know about this project unfortunately. Apologies but i wasn't aware of this until today?
